The Designer

Creative director, designer and stylist Marina Dobreva draws inspiration from travel, the colors of the world and the dynamic edge of New York City. As a former ballet dancer, an appreciation for artistry and aesthetics came early. Following her first professional stint in the fashion industry as a stylist for J.Crew, Marina’s entrepreneurial spirit inspired her to build her own thriving styling company. While currently engaged on editorial and commercial projects around the world, Marina continues to expand and build the Mimilore brand.

The Beginning

Designed by Marina and handmade in New York City, Mimilore launched in 2016 with a collection of necklaces, earrings, chokers and cuffs – each unique piece inspired by an iconic and exotic travel destination. Imported silk blend tassels, embossed leather details, hand-painted metallic beads, Swarovski crystals, twining rope, gunmetal chain, and Japanese velvet are a selection of the materials seen throughout.
